5.4 Update your risk management plan

You can now return to the risk situations you previously formulated. List new ones or revise the previous ones if needed. Use the format described under My risk management in Module 3.3.

Example

Risk situation

  •  I am alone at home, start to feel bored and get the impulse to search for and use CSAM.

Solution

  • Testing self-regulation by practicing ‘mindful presence’, as described under Self-regulation skills in module 3.

How to avoid risk in the future

  • Make sure to plan my time more consciously and in line with my leisure/hobby values.

My risk management plan

IIn this exercise you will create a risk management plan for moments when you feel the urge to use CSAM. 

Write your plan to cope with triggering factors to use CSAM on paper. Look back at your plan whenever you want to use CSAM, or you experience any of your triggering factors that you identified previously.

List at least three risk situations and make a risk management plan for them.

Look back at your diary to recall risk situations. 
What kinds of situations are risky for me? What situations make me want to search for and view CSAM?
